Terms of Service
Last updated 16 August 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and VIRAL when you use our website and apps. By signing in or watching, you accept them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your information.
Your account
You need an account to watch. Signing in sends a one-time code to your email address, so keep access to that mailbox secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you are responsible for what happens on your account.
An account can hold several profiles for people in your household. Profiles are a convenience, not separate accounts: whoever controls the account controls all of them.
What the service costs
VIRAL is free to watch and supported by advertising. Where we offer a paid tier or an individual purchase, the price, billing period and what it includes are shown before you buy. Purchases made through an app store are billed by that store under its own terms, and cancellations and refunds follow that store's policy.
What you may do with the content
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream and, where the app offers it, temporarily download titles for your own private viewing. That licence lasts only as long as your account is in good standing.
You may not:
- copy, record, re-upload, sell or publicly perform any title, or show it in a commercial setting;
- circumvent or interfere with any security, geographic restriction, stream limit or advertising in the service;
- scrape the catalogue, or use bots or automated tools against the service;
- share your account credentials outside your household.
Availability of titles
What is available depends on licences that vary by country and change over time. Titles are added and removed regularly, and a title you started may become unavailable before you finish it. We cannot guarantee any particular title will stay in the catalogue, and downloads may expire when the underlying licence does.
Acceptable use
Do not use VIRAL to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to disrupt the service for other people. We may suspend or close an account that does, or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.
Our content and yours
The VIRAL name, logo, interface and original programming belong to us or our licensors. Descriptive metadata and artwork for some titles is supplied by third parties, including The Movie Database, and remains theirs. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
If you believe something on VIRAL infringes your copyright, write to legal@getviral.live with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears, and we will look into it.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using VIRAL at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give reasonable notice where we can, and refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for problems caused by your device, network or internet provider.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.
Some countries give consumers rights that cannot be excluded by contract. Nothing here affects those rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use VIRAL afterwards means you accept the new version. The date at the top of this page shows the current revision.
